New Hope Community Church is located at 3075 Walnut Road (near Cheyenne Road) inside the Walnut Recreation Center.  New Hope Community Church was established in April of 2007, when a group of six people gathered in the home of the pastor.  In January 4, 2009, New Hope made its public launch as a church and has been growing ever since.

 

Led by Pastor Jeffrey Thompson, New Hope Community Church offers ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ.  This is a fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ who come from every culture, age group and social status.  At New Hope Community Church, every member matters.

 

New Hope Community Church is a ministry that thinks and acts "outside -the-box".  We believe in getting outside the four walls of the church and reaching the masses for the Master. 

 

New Hope Community Church is a church plant birthed out of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield/Suisun City, California "One Church in Two Locations".  Mount Calvary was recognized by Outreach Magazine as #65 of the 100 Fastest Growing Churches in America in 2005.  This is due to the dynamic leadership, preaching and teaching of Senior Pastor Dr. Claybon Lea, Jr.

 

New Hope is a Southern Baptist congregation and is associated with the Southern Nevada Baptist Association and the Nevada Baptist Convention.
